Being Social: the Weekend of 10.26.12

26 Oct

Sorry for the quick update, but I’m about to head out to the DCBronies halloween party! You’re welcome to come – I have one guest I can bring! Message me if you want in!

This weekend we have:

Take the Night of the Living Barcrawlers Bar Crawl to EIGHT of the most scandalous DC bars. Tickets are $10. [PoP]

The best costumed pub crawl: Nightmare on M Street is going on.  I’ll be around if you go!

Participate in the Embassy Row International Haunted Halloween Soiree at the The Hilton Washington Embassy Row hotel.  It will include a food drive, international music, and a costume contest! Tickets are $10.

LivingSocial’s 918 F Street (which I tried to book on this night, damn them!) they are having an EXPENSIVE 7 Deadly Sins Halloween Party.  For $59 you can have multi-floor cocktails, snacks, and entertainment.  Plus, another costume contest! [PoP]

Join the Halloween Zombie Movie Festival at the Half Street Fairgrounds In DC – Sat, Oct 27th, 2012 – ONLY $10 on Living Social!  The best part is it claims to have “DC’s Largest Halloween Party Zombie Hoard”.  Dude. Why are the hoarding zombies? There’s also food music, beer… the regular stuff that happens at the fairgrounds.

Don’t go anywhere near Rosslyn today.  The 2012 Marine Corps Marathon will be going on.

Want to watch drunks try to carve pumpkins? Then head on over to the Red Derby, where participants’ skills will be put to the test! [WaPo]
