About the Author:
I’m 28 years old and I have been living in the District of Columbia for five years now. I love all things geek: from tabletop to video gaming; from computers to manga. I wear glasses, have short hair and sport a dragon tattoo (gasp!). I enjoy wearing tall socks and short skirts, and tend to dress more goth than chic. It’s just a fun thing.

Hi,
My name is Dan, and I have a wordpress blog for my original animations and drawings, all of which falls firmly under the geek category. I’m trying to get a little network of like-minded geeky (fun-geeky, not mean-geeky) wordpressers together.
I see that we’re into a lot of the same stuff, and I dig your site (I actually re-posted your 80′s cartoon write-up from last week; well done on that). So I wonder if you’d like to share links?
Check out my blog and let me know.
Thanks!
Dan
We added a link to your site.
Check it out here: http://www.dc-geeks.com/links
Feel free to contact us or email me if you have any questions / comments or the like.
That’s about it. Thank you all for being awesome. If you want us to change where the link points to, let me know.
Are you on Twitter or facebook yet? I didn’t see a link.
Yeah, I’m iSaunter on Twitter, same name as I have on WordPress. Is there a good way to share that here, besides posting my feed on the blog?
I think they have widgets that you can install on the side panel that lead into either twitter or facebook. Lauren over at the Otaku Journalist would probably know better. We haven’t delved heavily into wordpress yet(we need to though).
Hey, I’m interested in suggesting an event for this weekend’s listing. What’s a good way to send that to you?
Thanks in advance!
I suppose the best way to send events is to tweet it to me @iSaunter . If you’re not on Twitter it can also be sent to Riftwing (at) gmail.com :3 Thanks!
Greetings!
I don’t know if you had the opportunity to make it out to MAGfest, but our studio had a booth there showcasing our upcoming game for iOS “Saturday Morning RPG”. I picked up a card from DC Geeks and they mentioned to check out links to local notable bloggers to seek coverage for our game.
SMRPG episodes 1 and 2 are coming out next month and we are looking to get the ball rolling for PR at any and all levels, especially blogs that feature video games. We would love the opportunity to be featured on your blog, and at the end of the month pending your interest, could get you a couple copies for a review along with our PR kit and concept art captures. Let me know your interest as I feel coverage on our game would fit in nicely with your blog topics. Thanks so much, and keep on gaming!
